Day 1 – Online Theory Sessions

- APIE Stations: Dive into the Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation stations, exploring the necessary skills and approaches.
- Silent Stations (Professional Values and Evidence-Based Practice): Gain an understanding of the importance of professional values and evidence-based practice within the OSCE context.
- Overall Theoretical Coverage of Skills Stations: Receive comprehensive theoretical coverage of the skills stations that will be further explored during the practical sessions.
Day 2 –Face to Face Practical Session
09:00 – 17:00
- Practice Scenarios of APIE Stations: Engage in discussions and practice scenarios related to the Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation stations.
- Silent Stations (Professional Values and Evidence-Based Practice): Build on your understanding of professional values and evidence-based practice through practical exercises.
- Skills Stations: Dive into the practical aspects of various skills stations, focusing on hands-on practice and skill development.
Day 3 – Further Practical Sessions
09:00 – 17:00
- Wound Assessment: Develop expertise in assessing and managing wounds.
- ANTT (Aseptic Non-Touch Technique): Master the aseptic technique used in various medical procedures.
- In-Hospital Resuscitation: Gain proficiency in the protocols and techniques involved in hospital resuscitation.
- IM (Intramuscular) Injection: Practice the correct administration of injections into the muscle.
- Subcutaneous Injection: Learn the proper technique for administering injections into the fatty tissue beneath the skin.
- Catheter Sampling of Urine: Understand the process and techniques for collecting urine samples using a catheter.
- MDI (Metered-Dose Inhaler): Practice the correct use and administration of inhalers.
- Peak Flow: Learn to measure and interpret peak expiratory flow rate, a vital tool in managing respiratory conditions.
- MSU (Midstream Urine) Urinalysis: Gain proficiency in performing urinalysis using the midstream urine collection method.
- Catheter Removal: Master the technique for safe and efficient removal of catheters.
- IV (Intravenous) Flush & VIP (Venous Infusion Phlebitis) Assessment: Learn to properly flush intravenous lines and assess for phlebitis.
- NG (Nasogastric) Tube Insertion: Practice the insertion of nasogastric tubes for enteral feeding or medication administration.
- Blood Glucose Monitoring: Develop skills in measuring and interpreting blood glucose levels.
- Pain Assessment: Learn to assess and manage pain effectively.
- Fluid Balance: Gain an understanding of fluid balance assessment and management.
- Pressure Area Assessment: Practice assessing and preventing pressure ulcers.
- Administration of Suppository: Master the technique for administering suppositories.
- Bowel Assessment: Develop expertise in assessing bowel function.
- Nasopharyngeal Suctioning: Learn to perform nasopharyngeal suctioning to clear airways.

Day 4 – Full Simulated Mock OSCE Test
09:00 – 17:00
- Experience a full simulated mock OSCE test that includes all timed stations.
- Review: Receive valuable feedback and a thorough review of your performance during the mock OSCE test, enabling you to identify areas for improvement and enhance your readiness for the actual exam.
